Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

Welcome to Pilates Method! By purchasing a class pack or membership, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update these policies at any time. All sales are final and non-transferable.

2. Class Packs

  • Class packs are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • 1-class pack expires 30 days from the date of purchase.
  • 5-class pack expires 60 days from the date of purchase.
  • 10-class pack expires 90 days from the date of purchase.
  • Unused classes do not roll over past the expiration date.

3. Memberships & Auto-Pay

  • All Monthly Memberships require a 3-month unlimited commitment membership.
  • Memberships are billed on a recurring basis through auto-pay.
  • The 3-month commitment membership requires a minimum commitment of three full months before cancellation.

4. Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

  • All unlimited memberships auto-renew at the end of the billing cycle.
  • To cancel an auto-renewing membership, members must submit a written
    cancellation request via email to info@pilatesmethodnj.com at least 15 days before the next billing date.
  • No partial refunds or pro-rated cancellations are offered.

5. Studio Policies

  • Reservations are required for all classes and subject to availability.
  • All clients must wear grip socks in the studio at all times.
  • Standard booking window is a rolling 7-day period; our monthly members have a benefit of an early access 14-day booking window.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance to avoid penalty.
    • Failure to cancel at least 12 hours before the scheduled class time will result in a lost class credit for class pack members.
    • Unlimited members who cancel late will incur a $20 late cancellation fee.
    • Unlimited members who fail to show up for a class (no-show) will be charged a $30 fee.
    • All other late cancellations/no shows are subject to a class credit loss.
    • All Private Sessions are subject to a 12-hour cancellation period.
      Cancellations made within this period will result in the loss of Session Credit.
  • Late arrivals may not be allowed to join the class to ensure minimal disruption (later than 5 minutes after scheduled class start time).
  • Private Sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Gift Card sales are non-refundable and, once activated, are non-transferable.
  • All clients must complete a waiver before attending their first class.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any class with less than 20% capacity at our discretion.
  • Disruptive behavior, such as phone usage and unnecessary conversation, is not permitted during class.
  • Photos and videos are allowed as long as they do not disrupt the class and no other clients appear in the content without their permission.
  • Pilates Method reserves the right to take promotional content such as photos and videos.

6. Payment & Fees

  • Payments are processed securely through our system.
  • A valid credit card is required for memberships and auto-pay subscriptions.
  • Any declined payments must be resolved within 7 days to avoid suspension of access.

7. Waitlist Rules.

  • Automatic Enrollment: If a spot opens up more than 2 hours (120 minutes) before class, the next person on the waitlist will automatically be added to the class and notified via email and/or text.
  • Lock Window: Within 120 minutes of the class start time, the waitlist locks. No one will be automatically moved into the class during this time.
  • Manual Spot Checks: If a spot becomes available during the lock window , it’s first-come, first-served. We recommend checking the schedule often if you’re hoping to get in.
  • Late Cancellations & No-Shows: If you’re added to class from the waitlist and don’t attend, it will be treated the same as a regular no-show or late cancellation and may be subject to applicable fees or penalties.
  • Opting Out: If you can no longer attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid being auto enrolled and potentially charged.
  • Be Ready: If you’re on the waitlist, assume you might get in. Make sure you’re prepared to attend with short notice, especially outside the lock window.

8. Changes & Termination

  • Pilates Method reserves the right to update membership pricing, terms, and
    conditions with prior notice.
  • The studio reserves the right to terminate memberships for violation of policies or
    disruptive behavior.
